Environmental Policy
We will provide the environmental management system, with continual improvement and
monitoring. Any activity will be under the environmental agreement and laws.
We are committed to safeguard the environment, by seeking the appropriate method to
eliminate the pollution including the unused material, and to prevent any water, air, noise,
and chemical pollution which may happen from the Company.
We will use the resources conservatively and continuously construct the environment care
among our employees and contractors or third parties.
We will choose to use the material and equipment which are environmental friendly, will
choose the environmental friendly contractors, and will ensure all the work done under
company’s environmental management standard.
To announce the environmental policy throughout the employee, contractors and publicly
to preserve and improve the environment to be better forever.
Promote Environmental Awareness
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Action Plan
- Air Pollution Management: Set and Monitor Emission Reduction Targets: Establish science-based reduction targets aligned with the Company’s long-term sustainability vision and track progress annually.
- Improve Energy Efficiency: Implement energy-saving measures across the Company’s operations, including upgrading equipment, enhancing process efficiency, and promoting energy
conservation practices. - Expand Renewable Energy Adoption: Explore the feasibility of solar, wind, or other renewable energy sources to reduce the Company’s reliance on fossil fuels.
- Optimize Resource Use: Enhance the Company’s operational efficiency by minimizing waste and improving material utilization.
- Strengthen Carbon Accounting and Reporting: Continuously improve data accuracy and transparency in the Company’s GHG emissions reporting, ensuring compliance with international
standards.
In 2024, the Company conducted its first Carbon Footprint assessment based on ISO 14064-1 standards, covering Sixxon Tech., GT, and TT, with GT and TT designated as operational sites.
The direct and indirect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for GT and TT were independently verified by Bureau Veritas Certification (Thailand) Ltd., ensuring the accuracy and credibility of the
emissions data in line with internationally recognized standards for GHG quantification and reporting.
Energy Resource
- Equipment Upgrading and Source Reduction
- Replace obsolete and high energy-consuming equipment with advanced Japanese and European machinery to improve performance and reduce equipment disposal and resource waste
- Phase out inefficient equipment (such as conventional lighting, compressors, and cooling systems) and replace them with high-efficiency alternatives to reduce waste generation at the source
- Retrofit air compressors, grinding machines, and conventional lathes to extend equipment lifespan and reduce waste from frequent replacement
- Process Improvement and Consumables Waste Reduction
- Adopt high-efficiency motors and chillers, and conduct regular maintenance of cooling water systems to improve operational efficiency and reduce energy and resource consumption
- Introduce in-house tool grinding machines to refurbish cutting tools, extending tool life and reducing consumable and tool waste
- Energy Management and Renewable Energy Integration
- Continuously monitor and analyze energy consumption to identify energy-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities, thereby indirectly reducing resource use and waste generation
- Plan to install rooftop solar power systems, expected to generate approximately 3.21% renewable energy, reducing reliance on conventional energy and associated resource consumption
- Continue increasing the share of renewable energy in operations and improving production efficiency to reduce overall energy consumption
- Management Systems and Certification
- Certified to ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System, demonstrating the Company’s commitment to continuous improvement in energy efficiency and effective energy resource management
Water Resource
- Water Use Efficiency
- Improve overall water efficiency through process and operational optimization
- Install flow control valves and sensors to monitor and manage water consumption in real time
- Continuously identify and improve water-use processes to reduce water waste
- Water Recycling
- Establish water recycling systems to collect and reuse reclaimed water within facilities
- Recover overflow water from cleaning process tanks for reuse
- Recycle reverse osmosis (RO) system discharge water for process or other appropriate uses
- Wastewater Treatment
- Ensure all wastewater treatment operations comply with local regulations
- Engage qualified third-party organizations to conduct monthly wastewater discharge testing
- Discharge wastewater to centralized industrial treatment facilities only after meeting industrial park standards
- Maintain effective wastewater treatment systems to prevent adverse environmental impacts
- Sustainable Technologies
- Continue investing in water-saving technologies and practices to reduce water withdrawal
Waste Management
- Systematic Management
- Implement a systematic waste management framework across all operational sites, covering both general and hazardous waste
- Ensure all waste is collected, transported, and treated by certified and licensed contractors in compliance with Thai regulations and quality standards
- Establish waste management procedures including source separation, safe storage, and compliant transportation to ensure environmentally responsible disposal
- Strictly comply with applicable environmental laws and continuously minimize the environmental impact of waste generation
- Waste Reduction and Resource Recycling
- Promote waste segregation and recycling programs across operational sites to improve recycling rates
- Integrate waste reduction strategies into production processes to reduce waste generation at the source
- Advance digitalization initiatives to reduce paper consumption
- Implement packaging material reuse practices to reduce the use of single-use packaging
- Special Waste Handling and Resource Recovery
- Install oil mist and oily waste recovery systems at production sites to collect, treat, and reuse recovered oils
- Properly manage special waste streams to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
